After-school Group Tutelage

August 11, 2024 - May 16, 2025

After-school tutelage groups offers students an innovative learning approach to reading comprehension, writing composition, and math.

Students may sign up for:

Reading Comprehension (Vocabulary, Critical Thinking, Rhetoric, Annotation, Sentence Structure and Cohesion, Phonetic reading with fluency and decoding)
Writing Composition (Grammar, Vocabulary, Style and Structure)
Math (Fundamental math for 3rd-6th grades, Pre-Algebra/Algebra for 7th-8th grades). Please note group math is based on assessment and availability.
Standardized Testing Prep (CogAT, IOWA, STAAR, SAT, ACT...)
Science tutorials coming soon!

In tutorial groups students are taught learning strategies for reading comprehension and style/structure for writing composition. The innovative learning methodology allows students to participate in discussions and to think critically. Brainstorming as a team helps to build student's self-esteem and reasoning. Weekly assignments helps to enhance learning and continuously evaluate student's needs.

**Groups tutorials will take place in the library and/or via Zoom.

Monday-Thursday 4-5 pm and 5-6 pm

* Small group consist of 2 students/1 hour.

3rd and 4th Grade Group

Mon.-Thurs. 4-5:30 pm

5th and 6th Grade Group

Mon.-Thurs. 5:30-7 pm

7th - 8th Grade Group

9th -10th Grade Group

11th-12th Grade Group

*Mon.-Thurs. 7-8:30 pm

Register your student by completing the Contact Us form. Please note sessions and subjects availability is based on student's assessments. Not all students' needs can be met in an group environment.

*All sessions are subject our availability per semester, registration fee, and cancellation policy.

*No refund or reschedule for NO SHOWS less than a 24 hour cancellation.

Quarter Prepayment ($306.00/ 9-weeks DUE the first 7 days at the start of each 9-weeks). Please note the start dates of each 9-weeks) There is a $25 late fee for each 9-weeks prepayment.

*PLUS a one time non-refundable $50 registration fee AT the time of registration.
