Reading Comprehension

Develops student literacy by helping them to acquire the necessary reading strategies, while encompassing literature across many genres. Oral communication, critical thinking and reasoning skills are attained through discussion.

Math

Focuses on a comprehensive approach to increase math knowledge, vocabulary, and methodology, while building on an individual's foundational understanding of problem-solving.

Writing and Grammar

Emphasizes various writing styles to encourage creativity and clarity in the communication of ideas. This methodology allows students to explore and flourish using their distinctive writing or speaking voices, in addition to building their vocabulary.

Foreign Language

Spanish and French is available to 5th grade to highschool students.

Ms. Sheila was an instrumental part of our group's homeschool education process. We were lucky enough to find her at about the 5th grade level and she taught our group for several years. She is one of the most gifted educators I have had the fortune of encountering, She taught the philosophical aspects of our 15 member Lincoln Douglas Debate team as well as facilitating the English (writing portion) of our groups education. But I know math and science are one of her many gifts as well. Currently all those students are excelling academically at the university level including a recent ROTC engineering graduate from Texas A&M, a veterinary student in Scotland, and an international business degree student from Eastern Washington State University to name a few. When my own daughters thank me for their 8 plus years of homeschool education I always remind them of the life long learning opportunities they were given by Ms, Hamilton.
